Dear Diary…

Hello my diary,
hello my Bioola.blog !
Hello my readers!

It has been a while since I talked to you…

Actually since Summer 2019! Time flies, cannot believe but it is Spring 2020 already…

So many things have happened, changed in my life. Good and bad… but as my best friend says, life is a rollercoaster, right? There would be ups and downs and we need to take it!

Last month has been hectic for all of us. At the beginning of the year, we had news about COVID-19, we did not take it seriously, we neglected kinda the possible severity and impact on our life. A few weeks later, we experienced real chaos around the world… More and more cases of infected people in Italy and then more and more around Europe, in your country, in the country of your friend, in USA, in Australia…. E V E R Y W H E R E!

I do not need to explain how strange are last days, don’t I? We all live in fear/uncertainty/lethargy…

Almost all of us ended up now being locked down in their houses, everything has been canceled and closed, beginning from the cinema, theatre, restaurant, gym, swimming pool, schools, public transport has been limited. We are not allowed to travel abroad now! Euro Cup 2020 has been postponed to 2021, the Olympics in Tokyo will happen… next year…

Most of us are at the moment staying at home, studying at home, working from home (if possible! as so many areas of the economy have been affected and the society would need to face a big recession and economical crisis…) …
Our personal life has been limited, we can only communicate and talk in life with our housemates… the majority of us haven’t seen their relatives, friends… We can only communicate via the Internet…

This list goes on and on… I can write more and more, but you know the best how it is…

Probably we all want to have this to be over as soon as possible and go back to normality to our every-day routine…

BUT… here comes the questions… Maybe it is good to stop by for a while…? This time that we live in now is special, we will remember this to the end of life for sure. On the one hand, we are very limited with our daily schedule at the moment, we can’t do much, go somewhere, travel…
However, maybe it is good? Maybe this time, these weeks can make us really stronger and think about what we really want, like to do in our lifes?

Let’s be honest, when was the last time when you did not need to rush somewhere, chase someone, neglecting sleep, good nutrition. Taking care of yourself, your mind, your hobbies, your passions?
Only now we have SO MUCH TIME that we can really use for OURSELVES, to study, to self-develop ourselves mentally and internally, we can read, study, learn so many things that we had never had the opportunity before!

Thanks to the Internet we have almost unlimited access to so many sources to develop our passions and research valuable content.
We can stay home, we can embrace the moment at our 4 corners and feel safe and good. Keeping our health at the point! As indeed, there is nothing more important than HEALTH! We must respect it and take care of it.

Of course, physical and mental health comes together, so I would not be myself if I did not mention that being outdoors is very important for me. This is why I really respect now and enjoy every single moment I can run/cycle outdoors as it makes me free and happy. Of course there are many other activities you can do for your body too! e.g. yoga, online classes, people now are sharing many awesome workouts you can do in your home! Stretching, mobility, you can work on those components now! Without extra excuses…

Aside of the mobiles and laptops that we mostly overuse these days, it is important also to give yourself a break and limit social media. I understand it might be difficult, as we want to communicate with others, especially there is no other way to make it now, but try to limit your phones and listen to music/ read some books/ learn a new language/ clean your house/look at your photo album/ memorize your best days from the past years, months, weeks or… write your blog, diary, public or private, does not matter…

Use this time for yourself, the best you can! This time won’t be back! Make it work for you and do not dwell too much, everything is gonna be alright!

Finally today I managed to open an editor and writing this post. Feels so good to be back!

I realized how much I like it and missed it, I promise to write it more often! MUCH MORE OFTEN!

Happy Wednesday!
