I just got back from Barcelona where I spent whole last week working at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week – the biggest event of it kind that time of the year.
This post will be divided into 2 parts, as I enjoyed Barcelona as a model and also as a runner/traveler.
#PART1 – MODELLING
Let’s be honest! It was not easy but it was fun! I am very happy to have participated in #BBFW as people were absolutely amazing. Yes, I love Spain and Spanish culture (ok, Barcelona is actually Catalniaa to be politically-right), but you know what I mean ;).
Event was really great organized. It took place in Fira Barcelona close to Plaça d’Espanya (I was also very lucky to renting a room 2 minutes away from the place).
During whole this week there were 27 shows, lots of designers, models, many, many hardworking hairdressers, make-up artists, plenty of technicians and people working around it.
Only after few hours I could feel being a part of BIG family :).
I arrived on Saturday afternoon and my first fittings were on Sunday. On Monday I was free so I could enjoy Sant Jordi (more info in #part2) then next days till Friday I was busy with shows and fittings in the meanwhile.
In total I had 8 shows, 5 of them took place in Fira and 3 of them (Rosa Clara, Reem Acra, YOLANCRIS) were held in special locations.

Cristina Tamborero
Rosa Clara
Show was located in scenic Sant Pau. Absolutely amazing place in north of Sagrada Familia, astonishing with its architecture and beauty. I felt like a doll in cartoon.
WESDNESDAY, April 25, 2018
New Talent – Alejandro Resta
New Talent – Simone Marulli
Reem Acra
The biggest show of this year’s #BBFW. It was an honor to walk for extremely talented Lebanese Designer who brought her collection straight from NY. Show took place in Musem Martim – Museum of Martin with scenic runway, decorations, walking along real trees and flowers was beyond amazing. I wish you could smell this scent right now!

Marylise & Rembo
Cymbeline
Yolancris
WOW! WOW! WOW! That’s how I can describe this fashion show but It was much more than regular fashion show. Only for this night catwalk was prepared on Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina linking Placa de Espana with Magic Fountains. Beautiful night with light from Fountains on the back, outdoor fashion show with professional dancers and moving decorations will stay in my mind forever.
